About Vermont Vintage at the Round Barn
Our Service Pledge
We strive to respond to all orders with 48 hours. I deal primarily in vintage and antique items. I strive to describe the item in is as much detail as possible and support that by good and accurate pictures. My items are not new, many are over 100 years old, and they will have variations in patina and color. That is what I call excellent antique condition. These items do not look brand new. If you want something to look brand new, I suggest you peruse other sites that offer "vintage look" or "antique inspired". I of course will include any rips, stains, holes, breakages and chips in the description. Please ask questions if you have any reservations or need clarificationAbout Us
Vermont Vintage scours the back roads of Vermont finding incredible deals on rare items such as linens, quilts, primitives, dolls, Victorian and vintage jewelry, and other objet d'art.I grew up in Greenwich, CT in the the1950s to parents that were antique aficionados of the finest order. They imparted to me a great eye for the rare, the eccentric, and the collectible.
In 1995 I created Vermont Vintage and started selling all the eclectic items that I'd been finding at auctions, estate sales, and obscure country holes in the wall. After a few years my inventory was such that I opened my own brick-and-mortar antique store. While that was fun for awhile, now I reside on a great farm in the country with sheep and border collies and selling online affords me time to hunt and gather new treasures.
It's amazing how reasonable the prices still are up here in the remote Northeast Kingdom of Vermont and I'm passing this value along to you.
