All items are guaranteed as to authenticity. I respond to orders promptly and ship promptly as well. I reserve the right to hold items paid for by personal check until the check clears, if the buyer is unknown to me. I prefer to insure everything. I pack carefully!
I first opened my shop, Turtle Creek Antiques, in 1974 in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, and have been in the antiques business ever since. 2020 marks 45 years! I closed my second Chicago brick and mortar antiques shop on Lincoln Avenue in 2006. At this time I am only selling via my Ruby Lane Shop; all of my shows and markets have been suspended for the forseeable future. I have a website under the name of Turtle Creek Antiques, Inc.; once I start selling at shows again, I will post my show schedule there. I now operate my Ruby Lane shop from my home in Chicago, a condominium in West Rogers Park. I plan to continue offering the same fine quality antiques, jewelry, small items, and quilts (especially quilts!) on line that Turtle Creek Antiques has always been known for. I love buying and selling and plan to remain an active dealer as long as my health and energy permit. I am staying home now because of Illinois' social distancing plan, so I can give you immediate service. I am hoping that more of my regular customers from the shows I do will find me on line. I am making Post Office runs twice a week, Tuesdays and Fridays. Please fee free to call or email me with your questions or concerns.
