I respond to all orders within 24 hours and guarantee the authenticity of all items I carry. There are NEVER any reproductions! I ship items several times during the week. Please let me know if you have an urgent shipping time requirement. I will make every effort to ship your item to arrive in the time you specify. If I are not able to do so, I will notify you within 24 hours of receipt of the purchase order. The cost of shipping plus Insurance will be added to your purchase total. Insurance is mandatory on items over $100, and all items will be shipped with insurance unless you decline it. There is never a handling charge. I package items the way I would want to receive them and use bubble wrap and styrofoam peanuts as needed. Jewelry comes in a gift box as well. Please do not attempt to return an item due to shipping damage. Should it occur in spite of my careful packaging, this must be handled through the shipping agent with an insurance claim. I will be happy to assist in this. Always be sure to retain all original packaging if a claim is to be made as the shipping agent will request to examine it. Purchase more than one item at one time and I will ship them together (if possible) to save you money on shipping.
Growing up in a family of antiques dealers, I received an in depth education in fine china and linens from both my aunt and uncle. I kept a shop in Gray, Maine for a few years but teaching school, raising children and showing horses took so much time, I finally gave that up. With children grown and horses gone with them, I now have time to return to the antiques I love. I have more than 30 years of experience with fine antiques, and as a history teacher, I am continually doing research. Do not hesitate to email me with any questions you may have!
