I GUARANTEE everything I sell to be as described - each treasure having been vetted by not only me, but usually by a second and third party. In purchasing an item from my store, I want the buyer to be completely satisfied with all aspects of the transaction. If a Buyer is unhappy with any item from my shop, just send it back for a refund - but please honor my terms of returning the item within 3 days of receipt. If an item is returned more than 14 days from time of receipt, with no explanation or prior correspondence, I reserve the right to refuse the return.I understand that purchasing an item over the Internet is still a relatively new experience for most people and not "holding it in your hand" is of the greatest concern. Needless to say, I have an extremely critical eye in finding the item in the first place. I don't like "surprises" nor do I want my customer to find them. My reputation matters so I want you to be 100% satisfied with your new purchase.

With 27 years experience selling on the Internet and 42 years selling at antique shows and in retail outlets, I guess I can say my education in the antiques trade has been pretty much "hands on". I've dealt in every type of item imaginable finally settling on jewelry as my main product for sale. But with times a'changing, I now sell almost anything that I think might be of interest to someone and I try to list new items Monday through Friday. I believe I have a good reputation - I certainly try and if anyone needs reassurance, well, feel free to check my feedback, I'm sure you will see I do try my best!My Ruby Lane shop will be filled with a wide variety of items running from Antique & Collectible Home Decorative Accessories to Antique & Vintage/Collectible Jewelry to Paper/Ephemera to Holiday items - just about whatever I think I can sell. You'll find a wide range of pricing - from high to low - from FIRM to BEST OFFER. Oh, and if you DO happen to see an item that should be cause for a more "robust" price, don't let it fool you - it just means I got a great deal and am trying to pass it on to my customers! I have always believed in a bargain and in these tough economic times, everyone deserves to find a treasure at the right price every now and then. I'm a very discriminating buyer - I won't buy things that are broken or try to pass them on without disclosure. I'm pretty accurate in my descriptions and buying on the Internet should be just as fun as buying in a store or at a flea market. Of course, you don't get the chance to handle the item, but don't forget, every Ruby Lane shop has an open return policy should your purchase fail to please!
