Welcome to Purple Creek! We are a business that grew out of a desire to honor the history, workmanship, art and beauty of vintage, heirloom, estate and custom jewelry.Every piece of jewelry has a story and we love being a part of that story. Pieces of once loved jewelry are authenticated and gemologically identified by our GIA GG graduates, certified jewelry appraisers and expertly restored by our custom metal smiths (unless their value lies in their patina and wear that only time can expertly provide)...ultimately they are "made anew". Recycling and restoring once loved pieces into pieces that can be fallen in love with all over again is the heartbeat of who we are at Purple Creek Jewelry.
We not only bring back life and beauty to estate jewelry, but we love creating custom pieces for our customers too. We have created custom pieces from family heirlooms or used loose stones kept from pieces of old and set them into something modern and beautiful for today's wear. We love making custom designed engagement rings for our customers nationwide.
Just like pieces of jewelry, shop names have a story too. Our owner has beloved memories of growing up playing in the crystal clear, salamander filled, quartz lined creeks of Virginia with her sisters. It also happens that her favorite color is purple.
From collecting treasures and rocks from those creeks to now collecting treasures of gold, silver and gems... we can't wait to share those treasures now with you as they become a part of your story.
