Coro's got your covered with it's blue moon brooch. Crescent shaped with layers of textured silver tone metalwork, the '60s vintage brooch's lower tier is set with cornflower blue chaton rhinestones. Top level is fitted with ice blue and cornflower blue chatons, marine blue marquises and a large oval marine blue rhinestone. Wonderful dimensional, textured and detailed metalwork with the sparkle of coordinated brilliant blue rhinestones.
The brooch measures about 2 1/4 inches x 2 inches at it's widest point with a 9/16 inch profile or height. Center oval stone is approximately 14 millimeters x 10 millimeters; marquises, about 7 millimeters x 4 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is approximately 30 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. All rhinestones intact, retaining colors and brilliance. No off or dead stones. All silver tone finish intact, front and back. Shape retained with no dents, improper bends or crush. All soldering secure. Pin mechanism strong and secure. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs.
Reverse of brooch is signed within an rectangular cartouche in familiar script: "Coro" preceded by copyright symbol. It dates circa 1960s.
