Bi colored art glass specialty stones are associated with higher quality fashion jewelry, certainly evident in the 1960s vintage brooch and earring set presented. Large faceted octagon shaped stones with a predominant golden topaz shade share the stage with champagne colored undertones. Fine golden mesh tubing frames the earrings' stones while mesh circles and loops enshrine brooch's stone. Two sizes of deep topaz colored chaton rhinestones accent each side of the square shaped brooch. Clip earrings are constructed to be worn in a diamond shape (points up). Of course, the brooch can be positioned as you choose.
The brooch measures approximately 2 1/8 inches square with a 1/2 inch profile or height. Octagon shaped glass stone is about 28 millimeters; accent chaton rhinestones, 4 and 8 millimeters. Mesh tubing is about 1/8 inch across. Earrings are approximately 1 inch across with a 1/4 inch profile or height. Specialty stones are 18 millimeters. Weight of the brooch and earrings set is 52.6 grams.
Condition is excellent / near pristine vintage. All components original and intact. All specialty stones and rhinestones free from chips, nicks, cracks or breaks. All secure within pronged settings.
