Luxuriously plated in platinum tone rhodium plate, this high quality '50s-'60s vintage necklace offers the flexibility of bilateral T-barred rhinestone chains plus the solidity of a rigid center decorative span. Graduated marquise rhinestones and a large center pear shaped rhinestone form the base and support a curved metal bar soldered with graduated marquises and center chaton rhinestones.
The necklace is adjustable to about 15 1/2 inches with finished extension end and rhinestone embellish hook closure. Decorative center span (including double rhinestone chains) is approximately 4 inches. Maximum width is 1 inch; profile or height, 3/8 inch. Center pear shaped rhinestone is about 13 millimeters x 8 millimeters; largest marquises, 8 millimeters x 5 millimeters. Weight of the necklace is approximately 18 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. All rhinestones intact and uniformly brilliant. No dark, cloudy, off or dead stones. No chips, nicks, cracks or breaks to stones.
