The ubiquitous rhinestone bracelet, circa 1950s, was in virtually every jewelry box from coast to coast. Rhinestones could take us from dreaming to doing -- from don't ask to do tell. A little sparkle went a long way into making us look like the million bucks we didn't have. Our steadfast second best friend...then and now.
The silver tone bracelet presented, circa 1950s, features five rows of clear chaton rhinestones -- two rows of smaller chatons on each side of single center row of large chaton sparklers. The bracelet is fully articulated for fabulous wrap around fit and feel. Closure is via fold over clasp.
The bracelet measures about 7 inches x 1 inch wide. Large chatons are approximately 8 millimeters; smalls, about 4 millimeters. Weight of the bracelet is approximately 38 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. All pronged rhinestones intact and uniformly clear and brilliant. No dark, yellow, cloudy of dead stones. All soldering secure. Silver tone finish intact, front and back. Fold over clasp strong and secure. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
The bracelet is an unsigned beauty from the golden age of rhinestones, circa 1950s.
