This late 19th Century rose bowl was made by Consolidated Glass in the shell pattern. It is molded in opaline glass to resemble sea shells. It has all gorgeous hand painted embossed and enamelled floral decorations done in shades of coral and gold against an yellow ground that shades from dark to light.
It is a large size bowl with a height of 5 1/4" and a base diameter of 3". There is a ground pontil.
The piece is in good condition, however it is stained on the inside with a few brown lines on some of the top ruffles. Not very noticeable when displayed.
