This is a beautiful and very unusual porcelain vase. The body of the vase is cobalt overlaid with a large silver lily flower and long leaves. The inside of the vase is white. It was manufactured by Pope-Gosser China and bears an early mark that was used on their Clarus Ware line. This mark dates the vase to the first decade of the 20th Century. The company's earliest products were very high quality and are highly desirable to collect. The Clarus Ware mark was only used from 1903 through 1908. The vase measures approximately 4" in diameter at its widest point and 8 ¾" high. The condition is very good. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. There is minor loss on the silver overlay.
