This is an exquisite demi parure made by MAZER (Jomaz), circa 1940s. Both the bracelet and earrings are made with invisible set faux red ruby rhinestones and clear crystal faux diamonds. The invisible set stones are seamlessly placed with no metal in between...a technique reserved for high-end fine jewelry. Both bracelet and clip-on earrings are rhodium plated so they are nearly as bright and beautiful as the day they were made.
The bracelet measures 6 3/4 inches long by 1/2 inch at the widest. The jeweled foldover clasp is further secured by a guard chain. The back of the bracelet is marked MAZER.
The matching earrings measure 1/2 inch wide by 3/4 inches high in a curve. They're unmarked but clearly match the bracelet. One earring is hand-etched inside with a (style) number and some initials.
The set is so well made that it has prevailed over the decades...still in excellent condition. Jewelry made with invisibly set stones are rare and highly coveted by collectors.
