We've kept these for decades, hoping one day to cut them up into various size pieces to make into charms for necklaces and bracelets or frames or rulers or a game of pick-up sticks or SOMETHING colorful. Well, time's a fleeting so we decided to find someone with more time and talent than we have.

This lot of 10 genuine Bakelite rods or sticks are a myriad of vivid colors...green, orange, yellow, and red. Most have some swirly marbling in the color.

These measure about 15 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide. They were originally made for mah jong game rack parts but ended up as pretty straight, flat rods. They're about 3/16 inch thick...very sturdy pieces, as they are. Or cut them, slice them, drill them, hang them. We can only imagine how great these would look on a necklace.

We missed the boat on doing something with these. Don't make the same mistake.
