Back in the late 1960s when we first started collecting Bakelite jewelry, this bracelet would have caused a major uproar...like finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. It's still as exciting.

This Art Deco era Bakelite bracelet is like a rainbow itself. Made of carved colorful chunks of beads strung on elastic, the colors are yellow, olive green, red and grassy green. All are marbled with some swirl of color.

The bracelet will fit a 6 to 7 1/2 inch wrist. It's 1 inch wide. It weighs 60.6 grams.

The Bakelite beads are spaced with goldtone double bars with gilt beads peeking through the middle.

Excellent vintage condition. Still a thrill to a true Bakelite fan.
