A fine rare two part English Neoclassical library cabinet made with mahogany and satinwood with rosewood banding, The upper case features an inlaid balustrade border above two blind doors which open to reveal a fitted and compartmentalized interior, all resting on a lower case with a felted brushing slide and single long drawer and quarter fan returns, supported by four square tapered inlaid legs. Dates to the late 18th or early 19th century. Excellent overall condition, with some visible top rubs, shrinkage cracks, minor imperfections, and expected wear from age and use.
