A fine curly maple highboy or high chest, attributed to Moses Hazen of Weare, New Hampshire, with an upper case of two over four drawers, supported by a lower case with one long drawer over three short drawers, the center with a linen fan and pinwheel center, all raised by four cabriole legs. Tiger maple with chestnut and pine secondary woods, replaced brasses, restored. The top is associated with the base. Excellent overall condition, with replaced brasses, minor imperfections, restored finish, and expected wear from age and use. Dimensions: 72 1/4" h x 39 1/2" w x 20" d.
