Whimsical nursery rhymes come to life in this cardboard cut out set. This set contains six magnetic art pieces made up of two couples each. "Jack Sprat" is here but I am not sure of the other two rhymes (email me if you know). The exceptional illustration makes these pieces really come to life
I believe the artwork was done by one of the "House Of Rock" artists who produced those great 1970s and 1980s era grammar, science, civics and math songs that accompanied the fabulous animation (...think "Conjunction Junction" and "I'm Just A Bill". These were show, usually on Saturday morning cartoons in-between shows like Scooby-Do and Fat Albert. Perfect in a baby nursery or child's room; classroom or in a vintage display.
Each piece is die cut and has magnets on the back for making various scenes. The colors are vibrant and the detail wonderful in these vintage teaching tools.
