Here is the adorable Little Red Riding Hood Side Pouring Creamer and Sugar by Hull Pottery. Each Little Red Riding Hood has blue eyes, round pink cheeks, and blond hair peeking out from under her famous red hood. Her cape is tied with a gold bow, and her dress is decorated with blue lines at the collar, the side pour, and the hem of her skirt. The front of her skirt is decorated with a single orange-red poppy decal accented with purple flowers and green leaves. The Little Red Riding Hood sugar carries her yellow and brown cross-hatch closed basket looped over her right arm, while the creamer carries her basket in her left.

The creamer is 5-1/4 inches tall and 6-inches across the handle and spout, by 3-1/2 inches wide. The opening is 2-1/4 inches long by 1-3/4 inches wide. The sugar is 5-1/4 inches tall and 5-inches by 3-1/4 inches wide. The opening is 2-inches by 1-3/4 inches wide.

Little Red Riding Hood was one of Hull's most popular lines, though most of the work was done by Regal China, patented by Louise Bauer in 1943 and continued in production until around 1957.

“Pat. Des. NO.135889” is incised on the bottom of both pieces, but it is so faint on the creamer that it is almost invisible, but can be seen when held in the right light.

The most notable flaw is the flaking of the blue in the right eye and in the right pink cheek on the creamer. There is also a bit of flaking on the hood of the sugar next to her face. The sugar also has an old, smooth chip under the glaze on the back of the cape. This sometimes happened in production and they glazed right over it. Any wear to the gold or in the decals is no more than minimally expected. There are some pinpoint sized glaze pops and a tiny brown spot on the back of the creamer.
