About Us

Lynette Gross strives to present thoroughly documented and researched antique dolls of the finest quality. I specialize in antique French and German bisque, china, cloth, wooden, wax, and select modern artists who use traditional methods e.g., R. John Wright. I also specialize in the unusual and historically accurate. Many other sellers just sell "pretty" dolls with beautiful costumes but no authenticity. We sell those that are wonderfully original, unique, and interesting. Whenever possible my dolls have factory original or antique costumes. I am a professional educator who seeks to continue my own learning and add to the knowledge of my customers. I have over 45 years of experience in antique dolls and regularly make educational presentations on my specialties for UFDC, NADDA, doll clubs and conferences locally and nationally. I am always happy to answer your questions. If I do not have the answer, I will try to direct you to someone who does. I am an active UFDC member and founding officer in the UFDC Antique Doll Study Guild of Indiana. I am a member of NADDA (the National Antique Doll Dealers Association) and follow their strict guidelines for accurate identification of antique dolls and ethical selling standards. I am a former president of NADDA and also a member of the Doll Collectors of America. I sell at shows nationally, buy at auctions around the country, and do regular hunting in Europe. I am always interested in buying a single antique doll or a collection of antique dolls. I do not buy newer boxed dolls with certificates of authenticity that have been purchased on home shopping channels. All of my merchandise is smoke-free. Flexible layaway and offers are welcome.
