My interest in vintage wrist and pocket watches grew out of my background in gold and silversmithing.
I graduated from Memphis College Of Art in 1979 with a B.F.A. degree and spent the next 15 years making gold jewelry. Only in the late 1980s did I start seeking out vintage wrist watches learning that many others find them interesting for their design, innovations and collectability.
I have examined carefully many watches in my years of collecting and have acquired a first hand knowledge
on evaluating them for their authenticity and market prices.

Some years ago we had also began buying fine jewelry set with color gems such as star sapphires, jadeite, aquamarine, pearls and other gems.
All of our color gems are evaluated by a Certified Gemologist Appraiser so you will always receive exactly what is described in our listing.
Gems such as jadeite are sent to the gem laboratory to ascertain whether they have been treated in any way or are all natural.
This makes a huge difference in price so make sure you have such a report accompanying the jadeite you buy.
We were fortunate to find a few high quality carved cameos and you can find them here in our shop. Hand carved cameos are an almost lost art.
