About Webberley Antiques

For over 40 years I have worked with antiques. Like my parents and grandparents I have a genuine deep rooted passion for antique furniture and I specialise in 17th and 18th Century British and European furniture with a particular interest in early English walnut.

Our old family name was Webberley and in the 18th & 19th centuries many men in the family worked as cabinet makers and coach builders. Henry Webberley built one of Queen Victoria's carriages and it is still used by the British Royal Family today.

When I was able to open my first shop it felt right that it should carry the family name. In the last fifteen years I have also built a successful online business - developing excellent relationships with knowledgeable buyers and first time collectors around the World. Many of my clients return to buy Webberley pieces time and time again and I regularly source fine antiques for my customers.

I love my work and aim for my pieces to exceed your expectations by: selling fine quality genuine antiques – usually from private homes; providing detailed accurate descriptions; offering superb value for money; giving a personal and friendly service.

Full Refund Guarantee
When you buy from Webberley you can do so with complete peace of mind. We operate a full refund guarantee so that if a piece does not suit for any reason, even if you accidentally measured incorrectly, we will refund you in full and on the spot. We want you to be happy with whatever you buy from us and go to great efforts to describe and photograph accurately.

We Keep Our Prices Very Low

Our combined skills and knowledge make us a very strong team working on your behalf. We buy pieces as if we were buying for our own home and will not buy a piece unless the restoration required is a sympathetic ‘light touch’ and professional cleaning.

We:
* sell fine quality genuine antiques – usually purchased from private homes
* ensure every piece is in excellent condition & fit for purpose
* provide honest detailed descriptions
* give real value for money
* enjoy providing a personal and friendly service
* offer a home approval option
* operate a full refund guarantee
* source pieces on request
* save you time, worry and money

It is difficult to buy antiques from photographs as they can only give an impression of the piece and you need to see and touch furniture to know if it is right for you. So if you cannot come to East Sussex to view, simply ask for ‘home approval’. If you like the piece when you see it, you can buy it on the spot. If for any reason at all an item does not suit when it arrives - simply return it with the courier and we will refund you in full – all we ask you to pay is a contribution towards the cost of returning the piece to us (usually £40-£60)

We also:
* arrange insured and reasonably priced UK delivery
* provide quotes on insured door to door Worldwide shipping
* accept all major debit/credit cards, cheques and bank transfers

I hope to meet you soon,
All good wishes,
Debbie Tice
