About Southampton Antiques
I have been prominent in the antique American made Victorian furniture business for over 40 years. As I inch towards retirement, I have limited my business to smaller pieces I carry fine accessories of the period including lamps by Bradley and Hubbard, Tiffany and Handel and silver by Tiffany, Gorham, James Tufts, Pairpoint and S. Kirk. Other accent pieces include Wavecrest, cut glass, Nippon, Royal Rudostadt, Longwy, art work, parian ware, marble figures, bronzes, prints and a very large collection of natural Victorian wicker. My customers can always expect fast, courteous and HONEST treatment in all transactions. I want everyone to be absolutely delighted with whatever they purchase from me. If you would like to see an item in person you can come to my house in Saratoga Springs, NY to see the smaller pieces. I welcome all appointments but do not keep regular business hours.
I started Southampton Antiques with my wife, Meg, in Southampton Massachusetts almost 50 years ago. We became well known throughout the country for carrying the very best in American made Victorian and turn-of-the-century oak furniture. Ten years ago we moved to Saratoga Springs, NY to be nearer our son. Meg has retired from the business and now I approach it as an enjoyable "hobby" having downsized the inventory from over 600 pieces to about 150. I am always looking for the better and more unusual items at affordable prices. My motto has always been that "quality, condition, price" are, in that order, the most important ingredients to successfully marketing antiques.
