About Paxman House Museum

Once upon a time, there was a place called The McCurdy Doll Museum, it housed a unique collection fashioned from over 100 years of thoughtful acquisition. From 1979, until its closure in 2002, the museum offered an array of community events, including tea parties, storytelling, puppet theatre, and doll making workshops. With thousands of dolls, toys, books, and other relics in need of a new home, we are offering the temporary opportunity to purchase a piece of history.
