This old salt dip is considered an individual as opposed to a master salt. Each person at the table would have his own small dish of salt accompanied by a little salt spoon often made of sterling silver. This one is pressed glass with a deep design covering the little bowl.
It measures about 1 ¾” in diameter in the middle with a 1 1/16” opening and it measures about 1 3/16” high. It is in good condition with minimal wear and no noted damage.
