This old doll is made of a wide variety of colorful pieces of cloth made into gathered circles referred to as you-yos. The yo-yos are threaded onto a wire armature giving a little flexibility to her torso, arms and legs. There are silver jingle bells attached as her hands and feet. She has a molded face of either celluloid or thin plastic with painted features. She has a sweet expression with side glancing eyes. There are little loops of yarn as bangs showing from beneath the clown style hat which also has a bell. The wide collar and hat are trimmed with gold rick-a-rack. I believe she is hand made with love and probably from the 1940's - 1950's by the look of the fabric.
She measures about 12” in length and is in very nice, clean condition with minimal wear.
