This is a tiny box of old razor blades for The Laurel Ladies Boudoir Safety Razor which was manufactured by George H. Lawrence Ltd. of Sheffield. The little box has a picture of the “dumb bell” style razors which has the Laurel name on it. The side of the box reads; The Good Tempered Sheffield Blade- Made in England by Geo. H. Lawrence, Ltd. Sheffield. The end flaps say; 5 Blades. Inside is a paper wrapper that says; A Laurel for the Ladies too. The original five razors are marked Geo. H. Lawrence - Made in England. I believe this is from the 1920’s or early 1930’s.
The box measures about 1 1/8” by 11/16” and is in good condition minor wear. The blade packet is in nice condition and the blades have a little discoloration and light rust.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
