This beautiful neon green cased glass is typical of the free form fun of the 1950’s glass art. The basket has a very fluid and sensual shape and the highlights of the green glass are quite attractive. The thick glass is pulled upward from each side of the bowl to form the handle of the basket. There are no labels or markings but it is reminiscent of glass made by Rossini and others in Japan during the 1950’s and 1960’s.
It measures about 7 ¼” high, about 5” wide and 4 ½” from front to back and the base measures about 2” by 2 ½”. It is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
