This thick glass paperweight is probably from the late 1800's or early 1900’s and it is advertising an old steamship company. The center is a picture of the ship at sea. Across the top it reads; Ship and Travel E & A. Below the ship it reads; Mackinnon Mackenzie & Co. of Japan Ltd.. The back is slightly concave and it appears to be covered with opaque paint.
The oval paperweight measures about 4 ½” long by 3” by ¾” thick and is in very nice condition with minimal wear. The top of the glass has very minimal scratch wear. The paint on the back has some minor scratch wear and soiling. There are no chips or cracks to the glass.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
