This is a beautiful old ring with sparkle and style. It is made of 14k white gold and the face of the setting is marquise shaped. In the center is a diamond, approximately 20pts, flanked by two rubies each approximately 10pts. The perimeter is set with 12 small diamonds, each approximately 5pts. On the side pieces where the band flares up slightly toward the high basket-like mount are two more diamonds, one on each side, that are approximately 10pts each. All of the diamonds are four prong set and the rubies are set with three prongs. It is stamped 14K on the inside of the band.
The face of the marquise measures about 7/16” across by ¾” in length. It sets high on the finger, approximately 3/8”. It measures about a size 6 1/2 on my ring mandrel. It is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
