This old kitchen tool was used for whipping and beating eggs and cream. It is marked “High Speed Beater” and it has the triangular A & J logo along with; Made in United States of America - Pat. Apld. For. It appears to be made of tinned steel and the handle at the top and the knob attached to the geared plate appear to be made of a mottled green Bakelite. The two beaters have four blades each. I believe this is from the 1940’s.
It measures about 12 1/8” in length, 3 ¼” across at the handle and about 3 ¼” across widest part of the beaters. It is in generally nice condition with some light areas of lost plating causing a little discoloration to the blades. There is no damage to the handles.
