This is an old Butterick pattern which would come in hand at Halloween or perhaps for a school play. The unisex pattern has a semi-fitted Indian top or dress, straight legged pants and an A-line skirt, both with elasticized waistbands, and a vest, either lined or unlined. Some of the pieces have fringe trim and/or applied ribbon trim. The envelope lets you know that the blouses, scarves, headdresses (hats) and star have to be purchased. Some of the suggested fabrics are; broadcloth, imitation leather, cotton suede and felt. It is a vintage pattern, probably from the early 1970’s.
It is a vintage Childs’ Size 12 for body measurements; Breast/Chest- 30", Waist- 26", Hip- 32".
The pattern is uncut with all 9 original pattern pieces, neatly folded and complete with directions sheet. The envelope is in fair condition with some tears. The top flap is torn off and missing. This is an original old pattern.
