This is an bell like would have been found on any number of old counters, often with a little sign saying; Ring for Service. It has a beautiful, clear tone when rung. The dome has a slightly stepped detail and is nickel plated steel. The base appears to be an anodized steel. There is no maker or any other information on it. It still has a distinctive “ding” when the plunger is struck.
It measures about 3 3/8” in diameter and 2 ¼” high and is in good, original condition with minor surface wear to the plating and finish. There is a little rust on the clapper under the dome.
