Antique, Vintage, And Eclectic Jewelry - Rare and Unusual Items - Reasonable Prices
Our Service PledgeI respond to all questions and transactions within 24 hours if at all possible. I describe items as accurately as possible based on my own expertise built during the five-plus decades of buying, selling, and collecting jewelry since falling in love with diamonds and Trifari at age 10 in my Mother's jewelry store. To supplement my knowledge, I do extensive research on all items I list to provide my customers with the best-verified description of the items in my shop. I include photographs and descriptions that represent all of the beautiful points as well as the defects. I mail items either the day of purchase or the following day.
About UsIn my shop, you will find Antique, Edwardian, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Victorian, and twentieth-century, as well as twenty-first-century designer-signed jewelry. I have grown to appreciate the fine silver and stone work done by Native Americans in the southwest. It is not in the European tradition but has evolved with the aid of Mexican silver artists and developed its own beautiful niche of ornamentation and jewelry making style and tradition. I have shopped for jewelry for decades buying what I like and what I judge the best of the items I view. I love all jewelry from the age of costume jewelry such as Trifari, Christian Dior, Hattie Carnegie, the studio jewelry artists from the 1940s, and other new jewelry artists such as Gabriel Ofiesh, Patricio y Marta, and others. You will discover that my taste and, therefore, my selections are eclectic. I offer you, my customers, the benefit of my lifetime of jewelry knowledge learned.
I am the owner of NikrosCollectibles and wherever I travel I shop for and buy inventory for my shop. I happily research items that I list for sale to verify my knowledge of jewelry. I continue my jewelry education by attending shows, conferences, and seminars when possible. I have taken GIA courses and shopped high-end jewelry stores as well as juried craft shows. I am a member of the Costume Jewelry Collectors International, American Society of Jewelry Historians and the International Society of Jewellery Historians. I hold two master's degrees, one an MBA from the University of Maryland.
I encourage my customers, to ask questions and communicate concerns before purchasing an item. Feel free to make an offer. I usually accept reasonable offers on items a customer and I are close on. However, since I pay fair prices to buy fine and unique items for my customers, I will decline offers that are unreasonably lower than the listed price. Layaways are on a case-by-case basis. I will work with you on price, shipping and handling costs. I want you to be happy with your purchase.
I am here to help. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, or wish to make an offer.
