About Us

Mendocino Vintage started out in the town of Mendocino in 1995 in a tiny one room store and then upscaled to larger stores in nearby Fort Bragg. After 20 years of having a storefront, we have shuttered the Bricks and Mortar and will be doing only online sales. This means that a greater number and variety of items will be listed for sale as we dip into the eclectic inventory for which the store has been well known in Northern California.
Our merchandise concentrates on fine and costume jewelry from the Victorian era up to the present and on choice antiques and fun collectibles. We have a large selection of vintage dresser items--perfumes, boxes, purses, compacts and hatpins, as well as gadgets and accessories that fascinate the guys. Silver flatware, hollow ware and objets d'art evoke vanished elegance, while antique toys and stuffed animals hint at the pleasures of long ago childhoods. Our array of glassware, art pottery, porcelain, sewing memorabilia, ephemera, metal ware, treen, and framed art appeal to almost every imagination.
