About Magi Antiques
Our Service PledgeI respond promptly to all inquiries. All items are sent well wrapped with cardboard, pluriball and/or styrofoam to avoid damages.
I attempt to make photographs very revealing, and write accurate, honest descriptions.
If you would like more information or more photos, just ask and I will make every effort to accommodate you.
My aim is to always provide you with a smooth, pleasant and satisfying buying experience. I will follow you during every step of the process: I will assist you from the moment you like an item and ask more information, in case you need advice for choosing, and then for shipping issues, and until you have received the item at your address.
About UsI am a writer. This probably explains why I love objects with stories to tell.
Life brought me, in my 20s, to work for a famous fashion and design magazine in Milan. Here I learnt the rules of style, along with refining my taste.
After I had my first child, I decided I had to experience a wider portion of the world. I quit my beloved job and with my family we moved abroad. First in Switzerland, then in Scandinavia and the year after in Belgium.
While traveling, I never stopped to nurture my passion for beauty, art, history and antiques, attending the most important European art fairs and auction houses, and collecting beautiful objects and artworks. Fellow collectors and antiquarians became my closest friends, with whom I exchange expertise and items.
I can therefore guarantee that what you will find here has the authentic weight of history and of craftsmanship.
Being a collector myself, my empathy goes all to the buyer, so I try to keep prices as low as possible. Beauty and art should be affordable for everyone.
This is a selection of objects that I chose following my personal taste for a broad market, having in mind people who want to decorate their homes with good taste and with unique objects, out of mass production and consumerism; but I am always in some antiques workshop or fair across Europe: in case you would like to find something you don't see here, please write me, I can be your alley in your research.
