About Kentucky Doll and Toy Museum Sales
The shop has been established as an opportunity to raise funds for the support of The Kentucky Doll and Toy Museum in Carlisle, Kentucky. Items for sale have been donated to the museum with the understanding that they may be sold for the support of the museum. Some items for sale are duplicates of items in the museum. The Kentucky Doll and Toy Museum is a 501(c)3. We are supported by the contributions of friends and collectors who are committed to the preservation of dolls and toys. The curator, Jan Taylor, and her assistant, Rhonda Weinstein, are both members of the Little Colonel Doll Collectors of Kentucky. We, and the museum, are members of the United Federation of Doll Clubs. We are always learning more about the things we love and collect. We will try to describe what we are selling accurately and encourage you to feel free to educate us! The museum opened in October of 2007 and our collection continues to grow.
