He is certified in GIA Diamond Grading and is presently completing the work for his graduate Gemologist degree. Taking great pride in his workmanship, Jon is known for his precision and skill as a diamond setter. Jon’s interest in jewelry began in high school where he made rings from silver spoons. He then went on to apprentice and fine-tune his craft with one of the top jewelers in Western Massachusetts. Upon moving to New Hampshire, Jon took on the role of manager for Gemvest Jewelers in Bedford, where he also served as Master Bench Jeweler and Designer until 1997 when he founded Jonathan’s Jewelers.
