About Joan & Lynette Antique Dolls and Accessories
Our Service Pledge
We guarantee the authenticity of our items and are dedicated to good customer service. As members of the National Antique Doll Dealers Association (NADDA) we adhere to their ethical code for customer service. We are glad to supply additional information about our dolls. Items listed by Lynette will have an inventory number beginning with LG while Joan's inventory numbers begin with JF. Lynette will respond within 36 hours. Joan may at times take a bit longer when she is traveling or out of the country with limited Internet access. These times are posted in our message. Thank you for your patience. Joan mails new items on Saturday or Monday.
Lynette Gross and Joan Farrell strive to present thoroughly documented and researched antique dolls of the finest quality. We specialize in antique French and German bisque, china, cloth, wooden, wax, and select modern artists who use traditional methods e.g., R. John Wright. Whenever possible our dolls have factory original or antique costumes. We are professional educators who seek to continue our own learning and add to the knowledge of our customers. We share over 50 years of experience in antique dolls and regularly make educational presentations on our specialties for UFDC, NADDA, doll clubs and conferences locally and nationally. We are always happy to answer your questions. If we do not have the answer, we will try to direct you to someone who does. We are active UFDC members and founding officers in the UFDC Antique Doll Study Guild of Indiana. We are members of NADDA (the National Antique Doll Dealers Association) and follow their strict guidelines for accurate identification of antique dolls and ethical selling standards. Lynette is a former president of NADDA and also a member of the Doll Collectors of America. We sell at shows nationally, buy at auctions around the country, and we do regular hunting in Europe. We are always interested in buying a single antique doll or a collection of antique dolls. We do not buy newer boxed dolls with certificates of authenticity that have been purchased on home shopping channels. We love to search for special requests for our clients. We pursue the elusive and cherish the traditional with passion and integrity. Our own collecting passions include German Characters, unique cloth, china, papier mache, wooden, wax, and early dolls for Lynette, and French Bebes and "mystery bisque dolls", Lenci, Russian and European cloth dolls for Joan. Joan also has Madame Alexanders, Steiff and Wee Forest Folk collectables from her closed physical store in Indianapolis where she was a certified dealer in both. All our merchandise is smoke-free. Please be advised that we require insurance on our dolls unless other arrangement is specifically made. Flexible layaway and offers are welcome. We want to make it possible for you to own the dolls of your dreams.
