Antiques and Vintage
About Island of BoschIn 2013 I started an online shop called Cornsant with handmade sewn and cartonnage items. After a while I found that I'd like to add some interesting 'hardware' items to my shop, that would match with my handmade fabric items. As my handmade items were mainly in the stationary and sewing accessories, it seemed logical to start with antique sewing boxes, sewing tools, writing boxes and writing tools. Once started with these I added different types of antiques and vintage: e.g. coastal accessories, kitchen utensils and ceramics and more recently toys.
In recent years my focus has been more and more on antiques and vintage. I realized that a lot of people interested in my antique and vintage items might not necessarily be the visitors I reached trough my existing shop. I discovered Ruby Lane as a great digital marketplace specialized in antiques. Hence my decision to start a Ruby Lane shop. My first online shop was named after the village of the drowned Dutch island of Bosch. It was an easy decision to call my Ruby Lane shop Island of Bosch. The customers of Cornsant give me on average 5-star reviews. I hope you'll enjoy visiting Island of Bosch just as much!
