We started "collecting" about twelve years ago. It all began innocently enough. I little of this and a little of that and it wasn't long before we had a lot of stuff in our Lodge.At first we did Church sales, but it wasn't long before we graduated to monthly and seasonal antique and collectible markets like Grayslake, Il. and Elkhorn, Wi.
We were never "regulars" only doing six to ten shows a year depending on the weather, inventory and our schedules. In 2007 we were fortunate enough to retire from our day jobs. This was a blessing and a curse. We had a lot more time on our hands to attend sales and auctions. Yippee! ...and therefore we accumulated a lot more stuff.
As long time admirers and wanderers of Ruby Lane's aisles we thought perhaps it would be a good place to showcase some of our merchandise.
Jewelry, vintage clothes and linens, kitchen collectibles and anything retro are my passion. My husband does beer steins, signs and pottery. Although, we've been known to dabble in perfume bottles, cameras, and glassware, to mention a few other categories of interest.
It would be absurd to say we have something for everyone in our Hodge Podge, but we hope to keep it ever interesting by adding new items all the time. It's our hope that we've already found what you're looking for.
