About Halcyon House Fine Antiques
Our Service PledgeWe respond to all orders as quickly as possible, we guarantee the authenticity of all our items.
About UsHello, I’m Richard Hoppe of Halcyon House Fine Antiques thank you for visiting. My love of antiques began some forty years ago with the purchase of a Staffordshire figure of Shakespeare and continues today, strong as ever, with my work as a professional valuer and fine art photographer. I'm a member of LAPADA, the leading UK dealer organisation, and also a member of the International Perfume Bottle Association.
My business philosophy is a simple one: to offer interesting antiques and collectables; to offer a trustworthy, reliable, competent and friendly service. I always try to take the best photographs and to give the most accurate descriptions and condition reports possible. I'm always happy to send additional images and further written information, I'm also happy to receive comments, suggestions, and, if needs be, criticism.
If you are interested in learning about my specialist services contact me to find out more. I offer wide ranging business experience, and the knowledge, observation and cataloguing skills learnt during honours degree studies in Fine Arts Valuation at Southampton University.
