About UsWelcome! While my first love is grape-themed vintage glass and pottery, I've changed direction over the last few years toward Costume Jewelry of the vintage kind. I love rhinestones and plain-Jane alike; Bakelite, faux pearls, crystals, plastic bead necklaces are all favorites and I have a large selection of vintage jewelry ready for new homes. But more than anything, I crave the thrill of the hunt. I enjoy learning the history of my finds when possible and sharing it with my customers.
I started collecting grape-themed vintage items 12 years ago and when I started selling Online, the first name that came to me was "Grapenut" because that is what my family called me. Yes, I do have a LOT of grape-y things; my kitchen is filled with chalk-ware wall hangings, grape art, Lucite and glass grape bunches plus dishware. I have collected Carnival Glass with grape designs as well as more recent pieces and as for pottery, I have a special place in my heart for Van Briggle and Roseville. I love the history of these companies and am proud to have pieces of American art that are leagues above what is being produced overseas today and being called "art".
