About Good Fortune JewelryIn 1992, I was thinking about starting a consignment store and the words, “Good Fortune” flashed before me. The name fit the concept and on Valentine’s Day my wife and I opened our new store in downtown Keene, New Hampshire. Initially,
Good Fortune sold furniture, housewares and almost anything that people brought us. Our consignors were delighted to earn money when their items sold and we were open to everyone’s suggestions.
The following year, several customers asked if we could sell their pre-owned jewelry on consignment. We hired a team of antique and vintage jewelry specialists and rolled up our sleeves. Slowly and steadily the store grew. As the estate jewelry business expanded, our focus shifted entirely towards this part of the operation. Eventually, we stopped selling furniture and began to specialize in selling only fine jewelry.
Twenty-five years later, Good Fortune Jewelry continues to flourish. We are unique in the nation and our customers routinely consign their fine jewelry with us from across the country. Our GIA Certified Gemologists and Estate Jewelry experts are skilled in helping establish the selling price of each jewelry item that comes into the store.
The internet has made the world of buying and selling estate jewelry even smaller. And today, you can visit Good Fortune Jewelry on the worldwide web or at our brick and mortar store in beautiful downtown Keene, New Hampshire.
We look forward to meeting you!
