About UsGreetings and Welcome to Deja Vu Antiques
I've been collecting and involved in antiques in one way or another since I was a little girl. It was such a passion that I earned degrees in Art History and French from the University of Washington. Later I worked in telecom, developing a skill set that would allow me to make a marriage of my two loves.. antiques and technology. I took my antique business virtual and have enjoyed the relationships I have made with people worldwide.
I have been an active member of the online antique and collectible community since October of 1998. I welcome you to visit me on ebay as well (dejavuantiques), where I have earned over 1000 positive feedbacks to help you learn who I am and the satisfaction I have given my clients in delivering quality antiques and collectibles. I take great pride in the business I have developed and am thankful for all the repeat business.
I collect antique and period jewelry, as well as various decorative arts from Art Nouveau to Deco. Pieces from my personal collection have been featured in Christie Romero's book, "Warman's Jewelry" second edition.
You can learn more about my particular interests in antiques, Art History and education by clicking on the "ME" button next to my Ebay user name.
The majority of my business comes from consignments, as well as hunting and gathering treasures from local estate sales.. I try to be very selective in bringing to market quality merchandise and interesting items that I think my buyers will be tempted by and enjoy. I also conduct searches for folks who are looking for that rare item that they haven't been able to locate on their own. Lastly, as I am often asked for advice.. I am happy to do appraisals for a nominal fee.
I am constantly researching my "finds" and am thrilled to be able to build on my art history background with the daily quests that I take on.. The background and provenance of the artwork I research brings history alive for me, and I hope provides some valuable content to the buyers who visit my store front and auction listings. I truly believe that buying and selling antiques is the ultimate form of recycling and information isn't worth much if it is not shared. I will provide provenance with items if I know the background and will gladly answer questions. .. This keeps the history alive. Collecting is a joy that is shared with people of all races, religions, and cultures.
Feel free to contact me with specific requests and I will keep an eye open for you!
