We offer a convenient layaway plan for items priced over $250. We offer free re-sizing on all our estate jewelry unless otherwise noted in our description.
About UsWe are an established, two generations brick-and-mortar business selling fine estate, antique and vintage jewelry, fine art, and better antiques. We have developed and nurtured our network of contacts in the U.S., the U.K., France and Italy for 50 + years. We are just beginning our e-commerce selling due to Covid-19 limitations.
We acquire pieces every day, so please check our shop regularly for new and exciting finds! Each of our estate, antique and vintage pieces is carefully and personally selected.
To assist with authentication and valuation we retain a Gemologist Graduate of the Gemological Institute of America, who is also a Certified Gemologist of the American Gem Society and a Certified Member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (N.A.J.A.).
Some of the items listed on Ruby Lane are offered for sale in our brick-and-mortar shop. All our Ruby lane items are subject to prior sale. We update sold items daily.

We guarantee the authenticity of every one of our fine jewelry pieces. We describe each piece carefully and provide pictures that accurately depict each item. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your questions. We are happy to assist you and will provide additional images upon your request. We are readily available via email to answer any questions or concerns you might have. Our goal is to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with the fine jewelry you have purchased from us. We happily accept interest-free layaways and make payment arrangements with you according to your needs. A written confirmation of your projected payment schedule will always be the bet way to assure that we are both on the same page. We are happy to allow clients the benefits of multiple layaways. Up to three items may be placed on layaway at once and at our discretion. Payments normally are remitted in a timely manner and according to your payment plan. However, should you require additional time to complete your purchase, please contact us so we can arrange changes. Please note that it is upon our discretion to suspend an open layaway account due to unsatisfied past due balances. The item(s) will be then released back into inventory.
Layaways cannot be switched from one item to another. Cancelled layaways result in a shop credit minus a 10% restocking fee based on the total purchase price of the item.
We accept returns. You have three days from the receipt of your purchase to contact us stating your desire to return the item. Your return must be received back to us within seven business days and, of course, in the same condition in which you received the item. Unfortunately, there are specific instances in which we cannot accept a return, these being pieces that have been customized, modified or re-sized by your specific instructions.
You are responsible for the cost of shipping, insurance, handling and delivery confirmation should your wish to return your purchase.
