About Charlotte's Web Antiques - Gallery and Catacombs
Our Service PledgeWe respond to all orders within 24 hours, we guarantee the authenticity of all our items.
About UsCharlotte’s Web Antiques - Gallery & Catacombs emphasizes fine antique furniture, but our inventory also includes art, glass, silver, porcelain, pottery, ironware, tools and memorabilia. Formerly of Durango, Colorado, we are now settled in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, quintessentially small-town Americana, with deep roots in the French and Indian, Revolutionary and Civil Wars. The pride we have for the quality, condition and authenticity of our antiques and collectibles, and the commitment we have to research their origin, thrives in a place like this.
After our three sons were grown, we left the East for the Rocky Mountains in 1986. While there, Charlotte’s Web Antiques was born. After twenty-seven years in Colorado, we returned East in 2013. And…we brought Charlotte’s Web's entire antique inventory back with us!
Charlotte’s Web isn’t your ordinary antique dealer. As we have found is the case with most Waynesboroans, we do business the old way – placing personal integrity in front of profit-and-loss statements. No short-cuts. No trade-offs. No compromises. The pride we take in offering great finds launched our business and is the engine that still runs our business. Even after all these years, Charlotte’s Web is still stubborn enough to settle for nothing less than the best, most authentic treasures for its patrons. For every item we offer, you will have a complete description, and, where available, the provenance. And, of course, your satisfaction guaranteed.
So come see Charlotte’s Web Antiques - Gallery & Catacombs and the rest of the arts center Waynesboro has become. Pick up your selections and save the shipping expense. We're a half-day's ride or less from more than ninety million of you. Here are drive times from some metro areas:

Pittsburgh, PA and Richmond, VA 3 hrs
The Tidewater Region: 4 hrs
New York, NY: 4 1/2 hrs

And while you're here, you'll feel the call of America's historical sites all around you. Waynesboro lies between the revered Civil War battlefields of Antietam and Gettysburg. It is named for Anthony Wayne, a celebrated general in the French & Indian and Revolutionary Wars. President James Buchanan served in the difficult times just preceding the Civil War. The commemorative Buchanan Trail passes right through the heart of downtown. Waynesboro is one of the few places in America that has never forgotten its past. Victorian storefronts and hotels are vibrant once again with the resurgence of visual and performing arts. All of this is unashamedly reminiscent of the culture and refinements of another era.
Art...History...and Fine Antiques.... That's a great combination that makes for a great destination.
In the meantime, we think you'll find viewing and reading the descriptions of our Ruby Lane shop selections informative and enjoyable. We also think you'll find one or more of them to your liking!
We look forward to meeting you.
