About UsAs a history major and teacher, I value the importance of sharing people's stories with the next generation. This love brought me to my first estate sale 20 years ago. I bought a double boiler that I still use to this day. Each time I smell melting chocolate, I think of the woman who used to bake with it and hope to carry on her passion.
Since this first estate sale, I have continued to build my personal collection, but so many wonderful items need good homes. I cannot rescue every doll, Pyrex dish, tea cup, vintage dress, and more. To that end, I am opening my shop!
I hope to help people who want and love antique and vintage treasures to connect with the special objects they are looking for. At the same time, I hope to spread the love that inspired someone to hold on to an item for so many years.
Just starting up, I will rely on the skilled and expert Ruby Lane customers to determine if items meet their conditions. That being said, as an historian and PhD, I research everything I sell as much as I am able. I will share customer testimonials as I begin to sell. Customer service is my number one priority. Each time a client buys from my shop, I want them to feel secure and a little happier because of the experience!
