Douglas and Shelagh Berryman bring a long and proud career to their world of antiques. This is not a hobby, but their profession for over 50 years, and something they both take very seriously. Many years of study and application to their craft has made them a team, both well known and respected world wide. They specialize in restored Victorian music boxes. Disc Boxes from both Germany and America and cylinder boxes from Switzerland. Clocks from around the world, mainly Tall clocks from England, Bracket clocks from France and Germany, Vienna regulators, and Black Forest from both Germany and Switzerland. Restoration is carried out by them, in their own fully equipped workshops. Almost no restoration or repair job is beyond their skills. Materials, techniques and method of application are kept as close to original as possible, and sympathetic restoration is of the utmost importance. A number of Museums in both England and Europe have called on their restoration skills and experience. Alongside their speciality, they also offer the 'Fine and Unusual' with, always an eye for quality, this selection embraces the 'find of the moment'. A selection of English Parian, interesting selection of Thermometers, carvings and period prints to name but a few of the items that may be available. After running a museum of mechanical music, later operating three shops in England and running a large restoration company for many years, Douglas and Shelagh are delighted to bring their skills to the United States. They are proud, to now call this home, and both have become American citizens.
