About Boca Raton Children's Museum
Among the first such museums to be created in Florida, The Children’s Museum of Boca Raton is today the oldest in existence in the state, having remained true to its original intent and function. It is housed in the historic “Singing Pines,” circa 1913. The building was moved to its present location in Memorial Park in 1976, and dedicated to the community’s children when it opened as “Singing Pines Museum” in 1979. Our mission is to broaden children’s awareness of the world around them and teach them how to problem solve through creative and scientific exploration.
