About Aislinne AntiquesWe have been selling on Ruby Lane since February, 2011, but we've been in the business a long time. On our first date we went to a movie, to lunch, and out prowling the local antique shops. It was meant to be- I had the historic, run down Victorian house, Susan had the period furnishings, including Grandmas salt and pepper shaker collection. From this humble start, thirty two years ago, came the malls, shows, and brick and mortar stores. We closed our last store ten years ago and stored all our inventory. Our only outlet is the monthly Long Beach Outdoor Antique Flea Market. We love finding, and buying new stuff, and we have large collections of framed and unframed art, costume and fine jewelry, books and paper, U.S. coins, and Victoriana. Our degrees are in anthropology, so we also look for ethnic, tribal, and folk art. Glass, pottery, toys, military, medical, and just about anything else rounds out our interests.
Our name, Aislinne Antiques, is our surname, Echlin, in Gaelic. Trips through Britain piqued our interests, and increased our inventory. We are constantly amazed by the variety and breadth of merchandise available to the collector. We are drawn to the unique and unusual items when we buy. If you have specific needs, please let us know. We will try to accommodate you. We have learned, and grown a lot over the past year. We can now manipulate the various shipping services so we can offer the best product at the best price. We look forward to meeting you, and doing whatever we can to satisfy your particular, discriminating needs.
